At the core of the competition is an immersive experience during the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli UK event, taking place from 22 to 24 May 2026 at Silverstone Circuit.
Six selected photographers will be invited to participate in a guided motorsport photography program, where they will work under real race conditions. This includes access to the pit lane and trackside areas—spaces typically reserved for accredited professionals.
Each participant will receive official Ferrari media accreditation, allowing them to capture live racing action from within the event itself.
Professional Mentoring and Hands-On Training
A key element of the initiative is structured mentoring from experienced motorsport photographers.
Participants will receive guidance in:
technical execution
composition and storytelling
working under pressure in dynamic race environments
professional standards within motorsport media
This ensures that the experience goes beyond simple access, offering real development opportunities for those looking to enter the industry.
From Shooting to Public Exhibition
During the event, each photographer will be required to submit three images captured across Friday and Saturday.
These images will be printed on canvas and displayed publicly at The Wing at Silverstone on Sunday, allowing participants to showcase their work in front of an audience.
A panel of judges will evaluate the submissions to determine the overall winner, applying professional editorial and creative criteria.
