Lamborghini UK Enters 2026 with a Fully Hybridized Line-Up as Temerario Deliveries Begin
Sant’Agata Bolognese / United Kingdom – Lamborghini is heading into 2026 with its first fully hybridized model range, as UK deliveries of the all-new Lamborghini Temerario commence in January. The launch marks a major milestone for the Italian super sports car manufacturer, completing a three-model hybrid portfolio that combines reduced emissions with enhanced performance.
The Temerario succeeds the Huracán and joins the Revuelto V12 HPEV and Urus SE plug-in hybrid, positioning Lamborghini as the first brand in its segment to offer a fully hybridized super sports car line-up.
Lamborghini Temerario: A New Hybrid Benchmark
At the core of the Temerario is an all-new twin-turbocharged V8 engine, paired with three electric motors, delivering a combined output of 920 CV. Lamborghini confirms that the Temerario is the only production super sports car capable of reaching 10,000 rpm, setting a new technical benchmark within the segment.
The model is launched initially as a coupé, with an additional lightweight Alleggerita version available, underlining Lamborghini’s continued focus on performance-oriented engineering despite electrification.
Completing Lamborghini’s Hybrid Vision
With the arrival of the Temerario, Lamborghini finalizes its High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) strategy across its core model range. Alongside the Revuelto V12 HPEV and the Urus SE, the brand’s hybridization programme aims to reduce emissions while preserving the emotional driving experience and unmistakable design language that define Lamborghini.
According to Lamborghini UK, hybrid technology has not diluted the brand’s appeal but instead enhanced drivability, usability and overall performance.
UK Market Strength and Network Expansion
The United Kingdom continues to consolidate its position as one of Lamborghini’s top five global markets, alongside the USA, Germany, Italy and Japan. Average lead times of around 12 months across the range reinforce Lamborghini’s commitment to exclusivity, even as demand remains strong.
Recent developments include the opening of Lamborghini Mayfair in London, marking the UK’s twelfth showroom location, as well as expanded aftersales facilities in Leeds and Pangbourne. Further dealer representation is planned for 2026 to support a growing customer base.
A Year of Product Debuts and Heritage Celebrations
Throughout 2025, the Temerario made its UK dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the Temerario GT3 race car was also unveiled – the first Lamborghini competition car entirely designed, developed and built in Sant’Agata Bolognese.
UK clients later experienced the road-going V8 HPEV during Lamborghini Day UK at Millbrook Proving Ground. The year also featured heritage celebrations at events such as the Hampton Court Concours d’Élegance and Salon Privé, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of Lamborghini’s Polo Storico heritage department.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As Lamborghini enters 2026 with a fully hybridized portfolio, the brand underlines its long-term strategy to combine sustainability with uncompromised performance. With new products, network growth and continued customer engagement, Lamborghini UK is positioned for another significant year in one of its most important global markets.
